Hello Everyone!! Hope you all are doing well!
So, I’m starting a series for stitch tutorials called “Tutorial Tuesday with Stringtierey” and creating a database “Stitch Directory” for all kinds of Crochet Stitches.
Today we are gonna learn about the Fantail Shell stitch (FSS).
Pin it now read it later!!

The FSS is an absolutely gorgeous textured stitch versatile enough to be used for any project with any kind of yarn! Not only does it create a beautiful shell making a dense fabric, it also creates inverted drop like lace texture which makes this an absolutely beautiful stitch to work with.
I had the absolutely wonderful opportunity to write the tutorial of the FSS for Desamour Designs Blog.
And you can read all about the stitch tutorial here.

The instructions for the stitch contain detailed photo tutorial and a video tutorial too!!
You can also download the free PDF of the stitch instructions HERE for free!!

Head over to the Blog post!!

The Fantail shell stitch is used in my latest design the Amber Beany.
You can read all about the design and the materials used for this pattern in my blog post HERE.
